Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
Super Kids Ministry
While most churches focus on building strong children's ministries and youth groups by separating them from the adults in the big church, our focus is bringing the families back together and encouraging inter-generational worship. Studies and research have shown that when the youth stay involved and connected with the larger church, they have a much greater chance of remaining in church after they graduate high school. Building relationships with adults in a corporate worship setting also brings that young person's faith to maturity. We have seen children respond to prayer and following along in the Bible while the Pastor is preaching. So bring out the whole family and let us worship as one!
Ministry of Helps Team
The Helps Team are those who have been appointed and blessed by leadership to minister the spiritual needs of the church and its members. The needs within the Body of Christ are extensive. Within each church body there are those who are suffering: physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. In light of this, the demands on Pastors can be overwhelming, causing them to feel stretched thin and often unable to give greater attention to prayer and the ministry of the Word. (Acts 6:2-4) We believe that through effectively training the laity, the pastoral care among church members can be multiplied and divided tremendously!
The worship team exists to use its vocal, instrumental and technical abilities to: Exalt and Magnify the LORD, not themselves. Edify and Encourage God’s people to worship the LORD. And to prepare hearts to respond obediently to the Word of God. Psalm 115:1 “Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your Name give glory because of Your loving kindness, because of your truth.”
Volunteering is a wonderful way to get plugged into your church, feel like part of a community, and serve Jesus at the same time. This is one of the best ways to meet people, develop relationships, and grow as a follower of Christ.
