Our Story
Planted by a dream. Built on the Word. Sustained by the Spirit.
The Hand of God Ministry was not born from a business plan or a building — it was born from a dream.
God spoke the name into existence, and with it came the blueprint: a ministry built around the Five-Fold (Ephesians 4:11–13) — apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers — the five fingers of the hand of God, extended toward a broken world.
In 2008, Pastor Jesse and Pastor Dalisa Diaz answered that call in Houston, Texas. What began as a faithful remnant gathering in faith has grown into a community of believers who know that God's hand is not shortened, and His Word does not return void.

What drives HGM
We exist to restore the Word of God to the Church and the Church to the world.
At The Hand of God Ministry, we believe the Holy Spirit is not a historical footnote — He is present, active, and transforming lives today. We preach without apology. We pray without reservation. We welcome without condition.
Our mission is simple: equip the saints, reach the lost, and advance the Kingdom — one life at a time.

Pastor Jesse Diaz
In 1999, Jesse Diaz made a decision that changed the entire trajectory of his life — he fully surrendered to God.
What followed was not a quiet faith but a consuming one. He pursued formal ministry training at Immanuel Temple Bible College in Houston, then continued until he had earned both a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate in Theology. Not for titles — but because he was hungry for the Word and refused to be satisfied with shallow water.
Under the mentorship of Dr. Barbara Wright, Dr. Beverly Wright, and Dr. Gary F. Daniel, his calling was sharpened and confirmed. In 2008, God gave him a dream — and The Hand of God Ministry was born.

Pastor Jesse carries a prophetic mantle alongside a pastor's heart. He preaches with fire and counsels with compassion, and after nearly two decades of leading this congregation, his conviction has not dimmed — it has deepened.
Pastor Dalisa Diaz
Pastor Dalisa Diaz did not come to ministry by obligation — she came by encounter.
In 1999, she surrendered her life to the Lord and found that He did not leave her unchanged. She pursued training at Immanuel Temple Bible College, going on to earn a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate in Theology. Mentored by Dr. Barbara Wright, Dr. Beverly Wright, and Dr. Gary F. Daniel, she was equipped not only with knowledge but with the wisdom to carry it.
When God called, she and her husband answered together. Co-founding The Hand of God Ministry in 2008, Pastor Dalisa has stood as a foundation of faith within the congregation — teaching, counseling, and shepherding with the kind of grace that only comes from having walked through real fire.
She carries a burden for women, families, and those who have been told they are too broken to be restored. Her message, consistently, is that God finishes what He starts.
